Description

The Oil Absorbent Roll are ideal for use in both industrial settings and water environments. They can sit on the ground to soak up oil around machinery or deploy onto water during spill response. The roll’s hydrophobic design allows each sheet to float while absorbing oil for efficient cleanup. Its bright white color provides high visibility on water surfaces, making spill detection and recovery faster and safer.

Oil Absorbent Pad Roll

It consist of oil only polypropylene. This is an oil absorbing material that does not absorb water. This allows the pads float on the surface of the water and only absorb the fluids residing on top. Oil spill absorbent rolls are extremely strong and durable, but have perforated ends making it easy to pull from the roll, and also helps reduce waste.

Cal OES MEL 9.2.1 ABSORBENT NON-POLAR SOLVENT, – PADS OR ROLL: Repels polar solvents (water), absorbs non-polar solvents (straight chain hydrocarbons, oils, some freon liquids, carbon tetrachloride); Approximate pad size 18” x 18”; or roll 12” to 15” wide x 150’ long.

Requires 150 square feet of bonded oil absorbent roll coverage for each Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 teams.
