ENSORB Granular Absorbents

The spill absorbent granules have several uses and will begin to absorb liquids of any viscosity right away, leaving the surface clean and dry. Once the dry absorbent powder is applied to these liquids, it will permanently encapsulate the spilled materials. This includes all animal, vegetable, mineral, and chemical liquids. ENSORB spill absorbents are not compatible with hydrofluoric acid.

With absorbent granules for oil spills, just apply powder over the spill and use a broom to sweep it up. The spill dry absorbent granules will quickly bond with the spilled liquid and turn it into a solid that can be disposed of easily. The granular oil sorbent will not corrupt soil, cement, asphalt, tile, plants, animals, or humans.

This product meets the requirements for the California Standardized Equipment List
SEL 9.1.1 NEUTRALIZATION – Acids: for concentrated Acid spills of up to 5 gallons: Should be neutral salt producing and non-polluting; Granular Sesquicarbonate recommended.
