This firefighter laser thermometer has a large, back-lit LCD display that shows readings ranging from -44 to 1022 degrees Fahrenheit.  There are four buttons to adjust the settings. Users can set the firefighter thermometer gun to display readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Additionally, users can save battery by turning the back-light and laser off.

Hazmat Response Teams can use this emergency contact-free thermometer on surfaces to check for hot and cold spots. Other features include a 2-minute auto shut-off to save battery. There is also a temperature range mode with an alarm to alert when readings are outside of chosen ranges. Lastly, this hazmat infrared thermometer requires a 9-volt battery to operate, which this item includes.
