1. Before carrying out the measurement, break the lower reagent ampoule and transfer the liquid to the indication layer so that it saturates.
2. After performing 20 pump strokes, break the upper reagent ampoule.
3. Shake the granular contents out of the broken ampoule by gently tapping the side of the tube.
4. Hold the tube vertically with the inlet of the tube up during the 5 additional pump strokes.
