Meet Our Core Team
Our experienced Cadre are all Veterans of the Military, First Response Agencies, and State and Federal Government Agencies. They have worked at all levels of incident response, and bring that experience to every training event. Our exercises comply with FEMA’s Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program standards, and are always customized to incorporate client specific needs and training requirements.
Daniel Keenan
Dan Keenan has been a firefighter and Hazardous Materials Specialist/responder for the Oakland Fire Department, Oakland, CA since 1991, and retired after 30 years. He is certified by CSTI (California Specialized Training Institute) as a Hazardous Materials Instructor for the entire Technician/Specialist curriculum.
Maria Duazo
Maria Duazo bring her expertise having been a Contra Costa County – Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Specialist II with years of experience responding to hazmat incident. She’s served as Administrating Agency Representative of Region 2 Local Emergency Planning Committee and as a founding member of the Coastal Region Hazardous Materials Response Organization.
Chris Angle
Chris Angle is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 24 years of service in the United States Army and California Army National Guard, during which time he developed an extensive background in both conventional and non-conventional Weapons of Mass Destruction protection, mitigation and response.
Jack Hansen
Founder of Hazmat Resource, Inc. Jack bring 26+ years of experience in the Hazmat & CBRNE response. Having retired as a First Sergeant-Safety Officer on the 95th Civil Support Team. Skilled in Emergency Management, Defense Support to Civil Authorities, CBRN, Hazmat Response, and Public Safety.
Our Program of Instruction (POI) is developed for each unique and separate request. Training courses and events are carefully tailored around the requesting agency’s organic equipment packages, mission essential tasks, anticipated Incident Command System (ICS) integration, and leveraging the maximum benefit from inter-agency partnerships.
