FLIR PackBot 525 Man-transportable Multi-Mission Robot stows neatly in a vehicle, even fitting in a car’s trunk and deploys in under two minutes. The PackBot UGV navigates stairs and tight spaces with ease, transmitting real-time video, audio, and sensor data while keeping the operator at a safer distance.

PackBot 525 Remote Manipulation Vehicle

Its ROV manipulator arm can lift up to 44 lbs (20 kg) and supports a range of accessories, sensors, and disruptor solutions.  Accessories and mounts available to support disruptors from leading manufacturers. Optional FLIR PackBot 525 accessories can include FLIR LWIR Thermal Camera – the thermal image transmits directly to the robot controller. Rear Flipper Kit – offers greater stability when climbing stairs or negotiating terrain. Integrated CBRN sensor payloads – allow an operator to remotely monitor the environment.

The PackBot is operated via the uPoint® Multi-Robot Control System, a rugged, touchscreen-based tablet that lets users seamlessly control multiple connected robots. Its Android interface makes it easy to learn and use. The system features the MPU5 radio, which operates on the Wave Relay® MANET, enabling superior wireless communication and allowing the robots to navigate deeper into complex structures and reach greater distances than before.
