A throwbot is a throwable micro-robot designed to transmit video and audio to a remote control unit, enabling users to assess situations, make informed decisions, and perform tasks that can help save lives and protect property.

Key features of the FLIR First Look Robot include:

  • Surveillance Robot: The throwable robots camera provides video and audio surveillance both indoors and outdoors.
  • Throwable: The device can be thrown through windows or onto roofs, offering valuable insight into otherwise inaccessible areas.
  • Portable: The compact gear fits easily into a backpack for quick transport and deployment.
  • Emergency Use: Ideal for time-sensitive emergencies, it aids in rapid decision-making when every second counts.

Our variant of the iRobot 110 FirstLook Robot is more capable, modular and customizable than the recon robotics Throwbot 2. Back by a FLIR 1 year warranty.

Military robots are built to handle tasks that are too dangerous or challenging for humans. Their roles include:

  • Reconnaissance and surveillance: UAVs and other recon robotics gather intelligence on enemy positions, terrain, and activities.
  • Bomb disposal: Robots safely neutralize explosive devices.
  • Combat support: They assist by carrying heavy loads, operating in hazardous areas, and rescuing wounded soldiers.
  • Sniper detection: Certain robots are capable of identifying snipers.

While most recon scout robot are tele-operated and unarmed, some are equipped with weapons. However, even armed robots are remotely controlled, ensuring they cannot autonomously take lives. Contact us to find out everything FirstLook FLIR offers.
