The Chlorine Institute Emergency Kit C – Tank Car or Tanker Truck is designed for tank cars and tanker trucks. Specifically, it features devices and tools for repairing chlorine systems during emergencies. Moreover, this chlorine emergency repair kit stops leaks around pressure relief devices and angle valves. In addition, it can repair DOT 105J500W cargo tanks, MC331 tanks, and DOT 51 portable tanks

Indian Springs produces the chlorine tanker truck emergency kit according to the Chlorine Institute’s design. The kit contains hand tools, inspection seals, and extra sealing devices. They label each item with a part number and color-code them green. Then the company stores all items in a durable polyethylene box.

Chlorine Institute C Kit

  • The new design combines several traditional C-Kit components (10A yoke, 10B block, 10C screw, 10D adapter plate, and 10E screws) into a single, complete yoke assembly, part #11A.

  • Devices #6 and #24 now only require the corresponding hood/gasket combination, yoke 11A, a paint scraper, and one wrench, #200C.

  • Yoke 11A is over 20 lbs. lighter than the previous C-Kit yoke assembly and is stored fully assembled and ready for use in a large polyethylene kit box, #151-C.
