Description
14 mL Glass Test Tubes have a fire-polished rim, marking spot 15 × 125 mm. The 25 mm OD tube does not have a marking spot. Corning pyrex test tubes have a particularly high heating tolerance. Type I Class A – Low-Expansion Borosilicate Glass, per ASTM E438 (Standard Specification for Glasses in Laboratory Apparatus)
Pyrex Vista test tubes
This product can withstand repeated standard autoclave cycles of 121°C at 15 psi for 15 minutes. This product is designed for heating through various methods such as a hot plate, flame, oven, microwave, or heating mantles. Under normal service conditions, it can be heated multiple times up to 230°C. In extreme service, it can withstand a one-time heating up to 490°C.
