The Sponge Stick with Neutralizing Buffer streamlines the process by eliminating the necessity for sterile gloves. A sterile, pre-moistened cellulose sponge with a quick release handle for sampling microbiological contamination on nearly any surface. The surface sampling sponge is convenient, with a ready-to-use solution. Eliminate wasted time associated with preparing diluents, sterilization, and applying them to sampling devices.

Packaged in easy opening foil pouches, with a sterile twist tie bag, making it the perfect sampling system. Surface swab test procedure, begins by detaching the handle (with attached sponge), obtain the sample, return it to the twist tie bag, release sponge into the bag, twist bag closed, and send it to the lab. Sponge sampler has a shelf life of two years from the manufacturing date.

With the convenience of a sponge on a stick for safety concerns, and a quick release handle that allows for the sponge to be released directly into the bag after sample collection, you are not putting your safety at risk. Only the sponge goes back into the bag after sample collection eliminating any unnecessary parts that may interfere with sample processing.

Sterile Sampling Sponge

Each surface sampling swab comprises a 3″ x 1.5″ (7.5 x 3.5 cm) biocide-free cellulose sponge pre-saturated with a 10 ml neutralizing buffer. With a quick release handle, it makes for swift and effortless sponge release. The stick comes equipped with a thumb stop and prevents unwanted contact with the sponge. The sample collection sponge on a stick is designed for sample gaps, drains, and pipes effectively.

The product includes bags that anyone can open easily with attached pull tabs. The bags also offer a label area for sample identification. The surface swab test packaged in a vapor-barrier aluminum foil pouch. This gives it a long shelf life up to 2 years from production. It also includes also sterile twirl-tie bag.
