Different packaging types

There are several packaging options available. The hard case offers splash water protection (IP54), while the soft pack is designed to keep dust out (IP5). Both types include a viewing window that lets you check the filter expiration date and the device’s condition, and the security seal on each package clearly indicates if the unit has been opened.

For the Dräger PARAT Escape Hood R59420, there are two additional packaging choices. The PARAT 5550 fire pouch comes with a flame-retardant holster and is the only fire escape hood approved for use with (Dräger) breathing apparatuses. Alternatively, the PARAT 5510 single pack is housed in a compact cardboard box with a standard filter plug system, making it ideal for storage on a fire vehicle.
