Cal OES MEL 11.1.4 RADIO, PORTABLE, IN-SUIT COMMUNICATIONS: Complete with earphone system, microphone system (i.e., built into SCBA facepiece, or throat mic, or bone mic, or ear mic, etc.), remote “Push-To-Talk” switch, and necessary attachable hardware and support connector system. Designs and configurations will vary and are influenced by support systems provided by portable radio manufacturer, and manufacturer of SCBA. See also 12.1.6.
