Description
The Emergency Rescue Stretcher Kit – HMH Sked is compact, durable, adaptable, and easy to decontaminate. Skedco designed this emergency rescue sled system for rescuers that require level “A” protection. Additionally, this rescue toboggan set dramatically increases efficiency in Hot Zones and evacuations.
Emergency responders can drag this heavy duty rescue sled over virtually any terrain, including stairways. One person can rapidly deploy the HMH Sked. Skedco made this firefighter rescue sled out of medium-density polyethylene plastic. This is so that the HMH Sked can withstands high temperatures. This also makes it unbreakable as low as 120 degrees Fahrenheit below zero.

The HMH Sked is extremely versatile. Emergency responders can drag the HMH Sked over virtually any terrain, including stairways. It requires less effort from rescuers wearing level A protection.

- Flexible, medium-density polyethylene plastic – unbreakable at 120 degrees below zero. Does not absorb chemicals, making it easy to decontaminate.
- Will fit on decon-conveyors for easy decontaminating, and handling of patients and litter.
- 8 ft. x 36 in. and only 11 lbs – easy to handle by rescuers wearing level “A” protection.
- Military-grade, 2 in. side release plastic buckles are non-corrosive, won’t spark, and inexpensive to replace in the event of contamination.
- Responders can attach Polypropylene slings to drag HMH Skeds up and down stairways.
