Description

The Class D NaCl Fire Extinguisher is the optimal choice for extinguishing magnesium, sodium, potassium, sodium-potassium fires and more.

The soft flow applicator allows the responder to stand back from the extreme heat and toxic fumes caused by burning metals. The  application directs a concentrated flow or may be quickly detached to provide a straight stream of extinguishing agent where greater range is required.

The Class D Sodium Chloride Fire Extinguisher – 30lbs contains a special blended Sodium Chloride-based dry powder extinguishing agent. Heat from the fire causes it to cake, form a crust that excludes air, and dissipate the heat from the burning metal. Available in a 150-LB. Wheeled Extinguisher.
