Description

Team Wendy SAR Tactical Helmet – Night Vision Optimized

The NVG mount/interface required for attaching night vision devices to the Team Wendy Search and Rescue helmet sold separately. Comes standard with two vent covers to prevent objects and debris from entering the crown vents of the helmet. Optimized with an integrated machined aluminum NVG shroud insert for use with night vision and other tactical devices. Includes a 4-point CAM FIT Retention System with a chin cup for optimal stability.

  • Meets the requirements of BS EN 12492:2012 standard for mountaineering helmets.
  • Meets the requirements of BS EN 1385:2012 standard for whitewater helmets.
  • Meets ACH Blunt Impact Protection requirements (per AR/PD 10-02 Rev A).
  • Meets additional off-crown impact requirements of BS EN 14052:2012.

6.3.1 HELMET: Light weight construction style helmet to provide head protection when wearing any CPC ensemble. Should include suspension system, and adjustable sizing.

Required Minimum:

  • Six (6) for Type 1
  • Four (4) for Type 2 and 3

 

The EXFIL SAR Tactical comes with a machined aluminum shroud insert meant for mounting night vision devices. The EXFIL SAR Backcountry comes with a glass-reinforced polycarbonate shroud insert meant for mounting cameras or lights.
