Easy to use

The pump attaches to the X-am 2500/2800 and X-am 5000/5600/5800 and is secured with a clip. Pumping initiates automatically when the pump is connected to a running gas detection device and stops automatically when removed. Using the X-am with the pump does not affect the measuring performance for standard gases.

Charging via USB

The Draeger X-am pump battery can be recharged via a micro USB port, compatible with a standard cellphone charger. An LED on the pump indicates the charge status, and a full charge takes approximately six hours.

With a compact height of 17.5 cm and a weight of just 200 g, the pump is easy to carry and store. The Dräger X-am gas detector pump is dust and water-resistant, meeting the IP67 protection classification, and operates reliably even at temperatures as low as -40 °C. The solid cast battery is designed to withstand damage from drops or impacts.

Effective range of measuring results: with explosion protection

The pump can reach ambient atmospheres in inaccessible locations up to 45 meters away, such as channels, shafts, or tank systems. It is optimized for hoses with a 3 mm diameter, ensuring fast response times and low power consumption.

Using the pump with a X-am device guarantees consistently precise measuring results, even in the most challenging conditions. The pump is approved for explosion protection in Ex zone 0. When combined with the Dräger X-am 2500/2800 and X-am 5000/5600/5800, also approved for Ex zone 0, the X-am pump enables secure and continuous monitoring of enclosed areas.

Long operating time for long deployments

The pump is designed for exceptional durability both externally and internally. Its battery capacity supports up to 20 hours of continuous operation, equating to three workweeks at 8 measurements per day. Conveniently, the operating time of the X-am device is not reduced when the pump is in use. Additionally, the entire pump operating time can be monitored and evaluated using CC-Vision software.

Data logger

The pump’s operating time, charge status, battery warnings, and flow alarms are displayed on the Dräger X-am and recorded in its data logger. This functionality allows for the separate display and evaluation of clearance measurements from personal monitoring data.
