Robust design – even for the toughest conditions

The Single Gas Detector Pac 6500 performs reliably even in extreme conditions, handling temperatures from -40 °C to 55 °C and air pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar, depending on the sensor. A membrane filter shields the sensor from dust and liquids, while the shock-proof, chemical-resistant housing meets the IP68 standard for maximum protection.

User-friendly display with all important information

The large display clearly shows the gas concentration, along with key information like battery capacity. Bright backlighting ensures all readings remain easy to see, even in low-light conditions.

360° alarm with various functions

When the Dräger Pac 6500 detects hazardous gas concentrations, it triggers an audible, visual, and noticeable vibrating alarm. Two bright, flashing LEDs at the top and bottom make the alarm visible from all angles, while the acoustic alarm reaches 90 dB. The display shows the peak concentration at any moment, and previous alarms can be reviewed later, even after being acknowledged.

For the Pac 6500 equipped with an oxygen sensor, there are two extra alarm thresholds besides the standard ones. This adds an extra layer of safety by allowing a pre-alarm to be set alongside the main alarm for both oxygen-rich and oxygen-deficient environments.

Data logger and event logger for analyses and reports

The Dräger Pac 6500 records concentrations and events with date and time stamps. This data can be transferred to a PC through an interface for further analysis and processing.

Economical operating costs

All versions of the Pac 6500 come with highly durable DrägerSensors and a robust battery.

The device is safeguarded against water, dust, and other contaminants by a special membrane filter. When the filter gets heavily soiled during use, it can be quickly and easily replaced, allowing the Pac 6500 to be ready for use again immediately.

The dräger pac 6500 price reflects these long-lasting features, offering value through reduced maintenance and replacement costs.

Fast function test saves time and money

Function tests and dräger pac 6500 calibration can be performed using the Dräger X-dock calibration station. The automatic bump tests offered by the X-dock provide a cost-effective and convenient solution, thanks to their short test duration and minimal test gas consumption.
