Easy to use

The pump attaches easily to the X‑am 2500/2800 and X‑am 5000/5600/5800 and is secured with a clip. Once connected, pumping starts automatically and stops as soon as the pump is removed. Additionally, using the X‑am with the pump does not affect its measuring performance for standard gases.

Charging via USB

You can recharge the Dräger X‑am pump battery through the micro USB port using a standard cellphone charger. Meanwhile, an LED clearly shows the charging status, and a full charge takes about six hours.

Handy and Robust

The Dräger X‑am pump is compact (17.5 cm) and lightweight (200 g), so you can carry and store it easily. In addition, it is dust- and water-resistant (IP67) and works reliably in temperatures as low as -40 °C. Moreover, its durable cast battery resists drops and impacts, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Effective range of measuring results: with explosion protection

The pump reaches hard-to-access areas up to 45 m away, such as shafts, channels, and tanks. Furthermore, it works with 3 mm hoses, which ensures fast response and low power consumption.

When paired with an X‑am device, the pump provides accurate measurements even in challenging conditions. In addition, it is approved for explosion protection in Ex Zone 0, allowing you to monitor enclosed spaces safely and continuously.

Long operating time for long deployments

The Draeger external pump is built for durability, both inside and out. Its battery delivers up to 20 hours of continuous use, which is enough for three workweeks at eight measurements per day. Moreover, using the pump does not reduce the X‑am device’s operating time. Additionally, you can track and evaluate the total pump runtime easily using CC‑Vision software.

Data logger

The pump’s operating time, charge status, battery warnings, and flow alarms appear on the Dräger X‑am and are also recorded in its data logger. This way, clearance measurements can be displayed and evaluated separately from personal monitoring data, allowing for more precise analysis.
