Sensors: Durable and Powerful

The newly developed CatEx SR sensor calibrates in seconds, resists shocks, and detects flammable vapors like gasoline, diesel, and nonane. It can also be configured for gases like methane, propane, and hydrogen. Dräger’s cross-calibration system allows flexible gas settings, with automatic conversion after testing. The sensor meets IEC 60079-29-1 standards.

Dräger also produces its own durable XXS-format electrochemical sensors, helping reduce long-term operating costs.

Focus on Sustainability

Sustainability was a key focus in developing the X-am 2800 portable gas monitor. It features long-lasting sensors and a rechargeable, easily replaceable power supply. Most parts can be replaced by trained users, with additional support from Dräger Service. The device is compatible with accessories from the previous series. To reduce waste, fewer printed manuals are available on request, and old devices can be recycled.
