X-Dock Compatibility

The Draeger X-am 2500 4 gas monitor is compatible with Dräger’s X-dock testing and calibration station, a solution designed for efficient maintenance and comprehensive equipment management. The X-dock is used for functional testing and complete documentation.

It is capable of completing bump tests in 8 to 15 seconds while using more than 40% less gas than competitors, with a gas flow of 500 – 550 mL/min. The X-am 2500 is also compatible with the Dräger Bump Test Station.

1 X-dock bump test stated times are typical results; stated gas consumption is based upon calibration gas flow of 0.3 L/min using X-dock for bump tests.

Draeger 4 Gas Monitor

With its compact size and ergonomic design, the X am 2500 gas detector offers convenience and comfort for users in various industries. It provides accurate and reliable measurements of explosive, combustible, and toxic gases and vapors, as well as oxygen levels. This ensures the safety of personnel in hazardous environments.

Long-Lasting, Reliable Sensor Technology

The innovative catalytic Ex sensor in the X-am 2500 offers a high degree of drift stability and excellent resistance to silicone and hydrogen sulfide. This sensor has an expected service life of more than five years and is highly sensitive to flammable gases and vapors.

Additionally, the X-am 2500 Draeger is approved for measuring a range of gases from methane to nonane, in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-29-1.

Zone 0 Approved

The Dräger X-am 2500 has Ex approval for zone 0, ensuring user safety in areas subject to explosion hazards. Additionally, it is resistant to electromagnetic radiation, such as from wireless devices, and is water and dust resistant according to protection class IP67.

Diffusion or pump

An optional external pump, with a hose up to 45 meters (147 feet) long, is available for use in tanks, shafts, or when searching for leaks. Switching from diffusion to pump operation can be done quickly and easily without the need for tools or screws.

Ergonomic and robust

The Dräger X-am 2500 is comfortably worn thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design, allowing gas to enter the unit from above and the front—even if the instrument is inside a pocket or if the front gas entry is accidentally covered.

The practical two-button control panel and easy menu navigation enable intuitive operation. Additionally, the integrated protective rubber coating and shock-resistant sensors provide extra safety in case of impacts or vibrations.

Dräger Catalytic Ex-Sensors

The Dräger Sensor Catalytic Ex-Sensors measure multiple gases at the same time—combustible gases and vapors in the air.

Peak value functionality

The Draeger gas detector x-am 2500 can store the highest gas readings for the Ex and toxic gas sensors and the lowest reading for the O2 sensor. These readings can be easily reset after a gas exposure without needing to turn the monitor off and on.
