Strong performance for maximum safety

You can count on the Dräger Pac 8000 Single Gas Monitor to provide reliable, precise readings even in extreme conditions. Its powerful sensors, with a fast T-90 response time, ensure quick reactions.

In addition to the standard alarms, you can define extra alarm thresholds for TLV/TWA* (Threshold Limit Values / Time Weighted Average) and STEL* (Short Term Exposure Limit).

Sensors for special gases

The Pac 8000 is compatible with sensors for gases like hydrogen (H₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), chlorine (Cl₂), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), ammonia (NH₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), phosphine (PH₃), and organic vapors (OV/OV-A).

It’s especially effective with special gases—detecting ozone (O₃) from as low as 0.02 ppm, phosgene (COCl₂) from 0.01 ppm, and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) from 0.04 ppm.

Easy handling thanks to clear user guidance

The D-Light shows if the device is functioning properly and ready for use. Each sensor variant also has clear color coding on the housing to help reduce the risk of errors.

User-friendly display with all important information

The large, non-verbal display shows gas concentration, unit, and battery level. Bright backlighting makes it easy to read even in low-light conditions.

360° alarm with various functions

When the Dräger Pac 8000 detects hazardous gas levels, it triggers a loud audible alarm, flashing visual signals, and a strong vibration to ensure you’re alerted. Bright LEDs on the top and bottom make the alarm visible from all directions, and the sound reaches up to 90 dB at 30 cm. The display shows peak gas concentration readings in real-time, and past alarms can be accessed later—even after they’ve been acknowledged.

Data logger and event logger for analyses and reports

The Pac 8000 logs gas concentrations and event timestamps, which can be downloaded to a PC for analysis. With the Gas Detection Connect platform and X-dock stations, data is synced to a cloud-based system—accessible anytime, anywhere for streamlined asset management.

Bluetooth communication

With Bluetooth capability, the new Pac 8000 allows real-time data transmission to the Dräger Gas Detection Connect platform. You can track the device location via the Connect gateway app, and integrate it with third-party applications using the OpenGATT protocol.

Economical operational costs

Every version of the Dräger Pac 8000 comes with a highly durable DrägerSensor XXS and a long-lasting battery.

A special membrane filter shields the device from water, dust, and other particles. If the filter gets dirty, it can be replaced quickly and easily, keeping downtime to a minimum and the device ready for use.

Fast function test saves time and money

Function tests and Dräger Pac 8000 calibration are easy and efficient with the Dräger X-dock calibration station. Automatic bump tests save time and test gas thanks to their short duration and low consumption. Simply place the Pac 8000 in the station, and it automatically selects the right settings.
