Clor-N-Soil allows hazmat responders to perform field screening for PCBs in soil in the event of a transformer leak or accident. It is a self-contained test kit. PCB concentration and extent of site contamination are all critical when determining further action. Clor-N-Soil PCB field screening kits can help emergency responders make those decisions on site in a matter of minutes.

Responders can also use the kit to test any type of soil including

• sand
• topsoil
• sediment
• clay

They can perform these tests at a fraction of the cost of traditional laboratory testing. Dexsil pre-measured the reagents and sealed them in glass ampules for accurate, consistent go-no go results at 50 ppm.

This product meets the requirements for the California Standardized Equipment List
SEL 1.2.3 PCB CHEMICALS, Test Kit: Consists of a simple multi-step screening procedure to test for presence of poly-chlorinated biphenyl contaminated solvents. Range of detection is approximately 20 ppm to 500 ppm, with different kit versions having different ppm ranges. Detection is dependent upon liquid color change.
