The FAST-ACT Emergency Decontamination Kit – 2 Person is designed to handle and provide immediate decontamination for up to two individuals exposed to hazardous chemical contamination. Also covers surrounding area and essential medical equipment. This kit ensures thorough decontamination in critical moments.
This individual kit for immediate decontamination includes one FAST-ACT Shaker Bottle, two FAST-ACT Powder Bottle 2-Pack, eight FAST-ACT Decontamination Mitt, and one carry case.
Emergency Decontamination Procedures
- Use the FAST-ACT Decon Mitts for immediate and emergency chemical decontamination. Be sure to follow the user manual and apply the mitts to skin and surfaces, limiting coverage to no more than 1 m² per mitt.
- Next, apply the FAST-ACT Powder Bottle Pack to contaminated surfaces. You can use the FAST-ACT Decon Mitt to evenly spread the sorbent powder. Additionally, provide agitation whenever possible to help absorb liquid contaminants effectively, maximizing neutralization.
- Then, utilize the FAST-ACT Shaker to apply FAST-ACT sorbent powder for ab-/adsorption (containment), decontamination, and neutralization of any visible liquid chemicals.
- Finally, dispose of FAST-ACT devices according to local regulations.
