Description

This is the MUVE C360 Integrated Multi-Gas Detector for Unmanned Aerial System. It is a drone mounted gas detector.

The sensor block boasts 8-channels:

• Photoionization detector (PID)
• Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) detector
• Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensor
• Chlorine Gas (Cl₂) sensor
• Oxygen (O₂) sensor
• Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂) sensor
• Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) sensor
• Sulfer Dioxide (SO₂) sensor

Teledyne FLIR designed the integrated snorkel to negate the effects of rotor wash. The snorkel extends past the propellers to sample the unperturbed air. The MUVE C360 sensor block quickly latches to a proprietary integration dock mounted to the UAS. The FLIR calibration station features the same dock, so the operator can easily connect for routine sensor verification.

The FLIR VueLink app prioritizes sensor readouts based on alarm conditions. The app then displays the sensor readouts in real-time on the pilot’s interface. The MUVE C360 drone-mounted gas detector is a time-saving, game-changer for emergency responders.
